Lost Ark Vykas Legion Raid Gate 3 Guide

As the newest boss in the Lost Ark Legion Raids, she is quite difficult to defeat due to her intricate mechanics, which necessitate that the player make no mistakes in their attempts to defeat her. If Vykas can defeat her twice, she'll be transformed into the Covetous Legion Commander, and she'll use her attacks and mechanics even more viciously.

Vykas Legion Raid Phase 3: Special mechanics and how to survive and succeed in the phase will be discussed in this guide.

To begin the third phase of the Vykas Legion Raid, you must open Gate 3.

To begin the Vykas Legion Raid's first phase, players must have an iLvl of 1430 in Normal Mode or 1460 in Hard Mode.

There will be a number of mechanics during this fight where members of the two parties of four will be required to declare the state of a mechanic component so that the mechanic can be cleared on time.

In the Gate 3 fight, there are bonus mechanisms that are not present in the usual mechanisms that are present in all of the Lost Ark boss fights so far. It is critical that all members understand how these mechanisms work.

Vykas Legion Raid Sidereal Skills

There are three available Sidereal skills that can be used by the assigned raid lead during the Vykas Legion Raid:

  • Nineveh: Deals heavy damage against the boss.

  • Wei: Deals heavy stagger damage against the boss.

  • Inanna: Provides damage reduction and healing. In this legion raid, it also reduces the seduction gauge in the Vykas phases.

According to the strengths and weaknesses of the party, the party leader should use Sidereal skills. In the third phase of Vykas, attack mechanics, such as the seduction gauge mechanic, can have a significant impact on the members' state. Fortunately, Inanna's Sidereal skill can counter this, so it's important to practice it correctly and at the right time.

Vykas’ Seduction Gauge Mechanic

Upon the opening of the third gate, each member of the party will receive a gauge known as Seduction Gauge on top of their HP bars. How well you do in combat depends largely on how high this meter is.

In all of Vykas' attacks, the seduction gauge can be pushed up. Inanna's Sidereal skill can be used to reduce the level of seduction (-40 percent seduction gauge). It is possible to interact with orbs located at the perimeter of the arena, which emit an aura that lowers seduction levels for players inside. There are only four orbs in normal and three orbs in hard, and they can only be used once per fight.

In this range, the player deals less damage (0–69%).

In the 70-90% range, the player is able to deal more damage, but he or she is also more vulnerable to it.

One hundred percent: The player is seduced and begins attacking the other members of the party.

Players will lose control of their characters when they are fully seduced, and they will attack other party members. The seduced player can now be hit by other members of their party. Seduced players can be dissuaded by using CC attacks, but this is a risky strategy because the attack could kill them if it is too strong.

Swimming Pools for Seduction

Prior to attacking, Vykas has the ability to create seduction pools beneath opponents at random. Despite the fact that these pools will remain on the ground for a long time, they will not harm anyone. Players' seduction levels will rise when they step on it. In order to avoid being blocked by the pools, marked players must know where to position themselves. Strategically, these pools can raise the gauge and reach full power.
